300 ELITE TACKLE FOOTBALL:
At the 300 Spartans Youth Association, we are proud to offer a comprehensive and inclusive youth football program for children aged 5-12. Our program is designed to provide every child with the opportunity to participate, regardless of their skill level. We strive for excellence both on and off the field, fielding teams in the Georgia Municipal Youth Football League at each age group from 5-12.
Our Philosophy
Our definition of "competitive football" goes beyond just winning games; it's about creating opportunities for our student athletes to succeed and grow. We believe that every child deserves the chance to be successful, and our experienced coaches are dedicated to providing guidance and mentorship both on and off the field. As role models, they serve as father figures, disciplinarians, and coaches, helping to mold our community's kids into strong, confident young men.
Formation of Teams
We offer unlimited weight, single age group football, where all kids are placed on a team regardless of size, experience, or ability. All kids that register in good faith will be placed on a team. Participant's age is as of July 1st.
Equipment Information
We will furnish 2 game uniforms, but additional items such as helmets, shoulder pads, cleats, and practice pants and jerseys are required and must be purchased separately. Depending on the team, additional items may be needed, which will be at the parent or guardian's expense.
Registration and Fees
The registration rate is $250, with an early bird discount of $225. A late fee of $25 will be applied after July 15th. We accept debit and credit cards via registration through our website, and all monies are due at the time of registration. Please note that there is a processing fee associated with each registration.
Refund Policy
All fees are non-refundable, whether or not your child attends any practices or plays or participates.
Requirements
All parents must provide a Georgia State ID for their child, which should be turned in to the child's coach or team manager prior to August 1st. Each child is encouraged to have a physical due to the nature of the sport.
Practice and Game Schedule
Practice for tackle football will begin officially in May (but conditioning starts in March) with practice held any day of the week until the first day of school. Once school begins, practice will be limited to three days a week, typically Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Games are usually played on Saturdays, and the actual days will be determined once the schedule has been finalized by the league.
Player Certification
Each football player will be required to attend a pre-season certification, which will be scheduled by the team coach or manager. Parents must make arrangements for their child to attend certification, as there will be no make-up dates. Failure to attend certification will result in the child not being allowed to participate in league games.
